Hi There... I saw this book here and it greatly concerned me that you have it on your sight as a christian book. Please reconsider this. It is a channeled new age book, written by 'the two listeners'. There is very, very unbiblical things written in it. This book has been written about in the 'Encyclopedia of New Age Beliefs'. These two women were channellers. Please look into this.

Hello grace, Thank you for your comment. I have read this book more than once and I do not agree. Jesus Calling was actually inspired by this devotional book. You are of course entitled to your opinion. Thanks again.

I started reading this devotional this year and have really been blessed by it.

Grace, I understand your concerns as I had some when I at first was reading 'God Calling'. What I came to understand better was that it is similar to what happens during devotional times and the Holy Spirit speaks something to your heart and you journal it.

I am also concerned to see this book here, for the same reasons listed above.

Thanks for the comment, but I think it's a very good book and definitely worth reading. Founder of WoC, Michelle

Hi I was given this book for my 21st birthday by an anglican minister and I am now 66 and never miss reading passages from our Lord which he told his disciples he could not tell them many things John 16: 12 - 14 until the Spirit of truth is come He will guide you into All truth. I use it alongside the Bible where I underline scriptures relevent to me. I have grown spiritually as a believer through my army days , college and business years and will always refer to both books for "hope, strength and growth as friends have found who were not following the christian path. Having looked at other religions in my earlier days and now Born Again to Christ teachings, the Scriptures and God Calling/ God at Eventide are a joy to read and grow in Christ our Savior.

Verse of the Day

Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others. — Philippians 2:3-4 (NKJV)
