• “One of the most wonderful things about knowing God is that there’s always so much more to know, so much more to discover. Just when we least expect it, He intrudes into our neat and tidy notions about who He is and how He works.” – Joni Eareckson Tada

Calm Where? by Michelle

More of Christ

less of me.

This is

my honest plea.

The more I grow

the more I see

that the Sea of Galilee

can take over me

if the fret and the fear

I revere.

What is your priority?

Calm in the Sea,

or

Calm in the Soul?

Which do you prefer?

Trouble with Him

or

Trouble in the World?

“But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt.” Isaiah 57:20

To have our eye own on the storm, is to be in the world and an enemy with God because of unbelief.

Do you see how the two conflict? We cannot have both.

“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”  John16:33

Verse of the Day

Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you. — Matthew 5:11-12 (NKJV)
