Take My Life by Nancy Leigh DeMoss 09/15/11

Nancy Leigh DeMoss: More than a century ago Frances Ridley Havergal wrote a hymn that helps us understand what it means to be surrendered to Christ.

“Take my life and let it be; consecrated, Lord, to Thee.”

Nancy: Have you made an unconditional, lifetime surrender of your life to Christ?

“Take my moments and my days . . .”

Nancy: Are you living each day in the light of eternity?

“Take my will and make it Thine . . .”

Nancy: Are you stubborn? Demanding?

“Take myself and I will be; ever, only all for Thee.”

Nancy: Have you surrendered all that you are and all that you have to God?

With Seeking Him, I’m Nancy Leigh DeMoss.

Verse of the Day

[Christ the Power and Wisdom of God] For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. — 1 Corinthians 1:18 (NKJV)
