• “Do not lose yourself in your everyday work and activities. Rather, lose yourself in God. When you are doing work, let your innermost heart be centered on Him. Live in His presence and abide in Him. Then your work will follow you into eternity, and you will reap a rich harvest.” – Basilea Schlink

Spiritual Lesson From Pain by Helen Steiner Rice

How little we know what God has in store
As daily He blesses our lives more and more.
I’ve lived many years and I’ve learned many things,
But today I have grown new spiritual wings…
For pain has a way of broadening our view
And bringing us closer in sympathy too,
To those who are living in constant pain
And trying somehow to bravely sustain
The faith and endurance to keep on trying
When they almost welcome the peace of dying…
Without this experience I would have lived and died
Without fathoming the pains of Christ crucified,
For none of us knows what pain is all about
Until our spiritual wings start to sprout.
So thank You, God, for the gift You sent
To teach me that pain’s heaven-sent.

If we suffer we shall also reign with Him. 2 Tim 2:12

Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin. 1 Peter4:1

Verse of the Day

I, even I, am the Lord, And besides Me there is no savior. I have declared and saved, I have proclaimed, And there was no foreign god among you; Therefore you are My witnesses,” Says the Lord, “that I am God. — Isaiah 43:11-12 (NKJV)
