• “It takes spiritual authority to bless others. Many Christians say, “God bless you,” but one clearly senses that although the words express a kind wish, they lack real spiritual authority.” – Basilea Schlink

Twelfth Day – Loyal Responses – by Francis R. Havergal

Trusting Jesus

I.
IAM trusting Thee, Lord Jesus,
Trusting only Thee;
Trusting Thee for full salvation,
Great and free.
II.
I am trusting Thee for pardon;
At Thy feet I bow,
For Thy grace and tender mercy,
Trusting now.
III.
I am trusting Thee for cleansing
In the crimson flood;
Trusting Thee to make me holy
By Thy blood.
IV.
I am trusting Thee to guide me;
Thou alone shalt lead I Every day and hour supplying All my need.
V.
I am trusting Thee for power;
Thine can never fail 1 Words which Thou Thyself shalt give Must prevail.
VI.
I am trusting Thee, Lord Jesus;
Never let me fall I
I am trusting Thee for ever,
And for all.
