“Seeking Him” is an outreach of Life Action Ministries.

Life Action Ministries is a non-profit organization founded in 1971 by Del Fehsenfeld Jr. Since that time, “America’s Family-Centered Revival Team” has ministered to millions of Americans through revival crusades, special multi-media musical productions, revival publications, a camp and conference program, and more. Over 150 full-time staff members in 17 different departments serve with one common goal–to see God give birth to genuine revival among His people, as well as a spiritual awakening among the lost.

There's something that you're really missing in the book on obedience. Sometimes, a believer can be so disobedient to God that when he or she finally realizes their error that they have become a prisoner of their choices and are basically not useable be God. I have sought over 40 years to fix a badly broken relationship with God and have had little if any success. You do not need reply to this E-mail, it's too late for me.

Thank you Oona for responding to Alan’s comment. I saw it too a couple weeks ago and wanted to respond, I am glad for the reminder of it. I wanted to add too to Oona’s comment, that faith is NEVER a feeling, but always an action, a change of mind, a change of direction , a change of life, a change of desire, and many other changes. But ULTIMATELY a choice within us. One cannot wait only on faith, but MUST pursue faith. He ALONE is faithful, and we must seek Him and know His faith. We can only be kept by His power within. If He is not acccepting of us, we are only to blame. Perhaps in feeling, we are not willing to give up. We must instead choose to believe Him and not our own pathways of destruction of doubt. I would encourage you too search the Scriptures and make sure you believe all of it, and ask Him for the faith to do so. And let go of your own life! :) We are all praying for you.

Alan, I just happened upon your comment. I wanted to tell you that with God, it is NEVER too late. Believing that is limiting God's power, and there is NO limit to what he can do for you. Consider Lazarus. He had been dead in the tomb for 4 days. Mary told him, "Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died." Jesus told Martha, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die." Jesus raised Lazarus from death. He can do the same for you--spiritually or physically. Ask God for an increase of faith. I will keep you in my prayers.

  • “Jesus, who so often says “Whoever loves Me…” “Do you love Me?” is concerned about our LOVE! He is concerned about a special kind of love…He who has loved us so much wants to possess us completely, with everything we are and have. Jesus gave Himself wholly and completely for us. Now His love is yearning for us to surrender ourselves and everything that we are to Him, so that He can really be our “first love” – Basilea Schlink

Verse of the Day

For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. — 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 (NKJV)
