• “Jesus, who so often says “Whoever loves Me…” “Do you love Me?” is concerned about our LOVE! He is concerned about a special kind of love…He who has loved us so much wants to possess us completely, with everything we are and have. Jesus gave Himself wholly and completely for us. Now His love is yearning for us to surrender ourselves and everything that we are to Him, so that He can really be our “first love” – Basilea Schlink

I was wondering why days from Streams in the Desert keep disappearing . The upcoming days are there one day and then the next day they, and sometimes several in a row just disappear????? Millard

Hi Millard, As far as I know I only missed one day. I only just started the Streams in the Desert Devotional a few days ago. I get busy and periodically do not get it sent out in time for the feedburner email to send it. There is only me behind this operation. :) So I do apologize. If it happens again the future, all of the days are already posted at this link https://womenofchristianity.com/missionarys-wives/mrs-charles-e-cowman/streams-in-the-desert-by-date/ Blessings in the Lord, Michelle

Thanks, I found that they are being rotated to the top of the list!!!

Hello Michelle,I see today that larger numbers of Stream in the Desert are missing.I don't know much about computer programs, but it would seem to be easier and less work to have the whole devotional left on the reference page and then we can just scroll down to the appropriate day, rather than having them shuffled daily. At least then they'll all be there. If this is possible! Thanks, Millard

Hi Millard, I hope you are well in the Lord. The reason some are missing is that I have changed the post date to be for 2013. The ones that exist still say 2011. I have already posted these 2 years ago but I am now resposting. To save time I re-schedule several of them in advance. If you would like to see the ones that are missing there are various other websites that offer streams in the desert. http://www.christianity.com/devotionals/streams-in-the-desert/archive/ And if you would like to help with the posting of these devotionals please do let me know! :) In the Lord, Michelle

Verse of the Day

I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own. As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep. — John 10:14-15 (NKJV)
