Annie Johnson Flint
His grace is great enough to meet the great things
The crashing waves that overwhelm the soul,
The roaring winds that leave us stunned and breathless,
The sudden storm beyond our life’s control.
His grace is great enough to meet the small things
The little pin-prick troubles that annoy,
The insect worries, buzzing and persistent,
The squeaking wheels that grate upon our joy.
–Annie Johnson Flint
“Is God-?’ ‘Does God-?’
Man’s ‘Why?’ and ‘How?’
In ceaseless iteration storm the sky.
‘I am’; I will’; ‘I do’—sure Word of God,
Yea and Amen, Christ answers each cry;
To all our anguished questionings and doubts
Eternal affirmation and reply.”
2Co 1:20 For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.

I also heard the same broadcast with Zacharias . I have searched for the book, but , as he said , it is out of print. The title was something like, Making of the Beautiful.

thanks for sharing about this book! I've recently been reading up on Annie Johnson Flint, as she wrote my favorite hymn, He Giveth More Grace. I'm excited to find this and read it.
Allistar Begg mentioned her poem this morning on his broadcast called “I look up”. But I’m having trouble finding that poem.
Hi, It might be this one. I added it to this website. Thanks :) https://hymnary.org/text/i_look_not_back_god_knows_the_fruitless_
I am curious about copyrights to Annie Johnson Flint's poetry. Are they copyrighted and if so, who holds the copyright? I would like to include several of them in my writing.
Dear sister Lois, I do not know who currently holds the copyright to Annie's poems. Her poems are shared on Women of Christianity free of charge and for educational purposes only in accordance with fair use guidelines. (I'm sorry I couldn't be of further assistance.) Thank you for your comment and God bless!
I have her book "Grace" with alot of her poems. I was looking forward to sharing them with others on Facebook, but noticed that in the beginning of the book there was a statement that nothing of hers is to be copied, reprinted, shared on any devices etc., as it's illegal. Well, that scared me off in sharing. You can get her books on Amazon, at least that one, and her poems are such a blessing.
