• “Jesus, who so often says “Whoever loves Me…” “Do you love Me?” is concerned about our LOVE! He is concerned about a special kind of love…He who has loved us so much wants to possess us completely, with everything we are and have. Jesus gave Himself wholly and completely for us. Now His love is yearning for us to surrender ourselves and everything that we are to Him, so that He can really be our “first love” – Basilea Schlink

Thank you for posting these interviews with Anne. Her book "Disciplines of the Beautiful Woman" spoke to my heart over 20 years ago when I was very new Christian. I just started re-reading it today, and find it just as current in the 21st century. I would love to help facilitate a study on her book alongside other women. Do you know of a good way to do that online? (I'm an online professor in an MBA program in the KC area, so I'm quite comfortable leading virtual groups.) Blessings for your website! Janet

Thank you very much dear Ladies, your interviews have encouraged me so much to have my kids sit down less or hopefully NO time at all infront of the TV. And also about not falling out of the love with my husband. Thank you so much for sharing the wisdom the Lord has given you with all of us, listeners. Anne, i have read a couple of your books and they were wonderful, they have blessed my heart a lot. THANK YOU! Blessings to you and your families!

I would like to contact Mrs Ortlund to ask her about using the words for her hymn Macedonia in a denominational hymn book. Up to now I have been unable to find contact details for her. Would you be able to help, please! Many thanks, Lieda

I had wanted to contact Mrs Ortlund in reference to a poem she had given in the Women's Devotional Bible. The poem was Ominipresensce. AS I was reading it, the Lord touched my heart and gave me a melody to go with it. I just wanted to share that little bit of information. It happened in May of 93 and I have shared her words with many others since then. Our little prayer group , even though it was written a long time ago, feel it is a fresh message for today. Thank you for those words. God bless

Verse of the Day

[The Last Enemy Destroyed] But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. — 1 Corinthians 15:20-22 (NKJV)
